Moses The Black-The Motion Picture-Update

From Nathan Lee Lewis

I hope you are still praying for our efforts to write and produce the life of Saint Moses The Black into a feature film for theatrical release. We are dedicated to writing an authentic story that will be an on-going testament of the grace of our God in the life of this saint, to be seen by millions, internationally. We have already invested many months of writing and many years of research toward this effort and the screenplay to this point is dynamic.

Please remember also, that even as we write this screenplay, the Coptic Christians in Egypt, who care for the relics of Saint Moses the Black, are being threatened with annihilation via the current political turmoil. Pray that this rich, Egyptian Orthodox Christian Culture, will survive, and that the church that holds the relics of Saint Moses will be protected. Our goal is to see this motion picture produced in the original setting in Egypt.

The Lewis/Stavrianias writing team is entering a more intensive writing phase of the project. While it will be exciting, exhilarating and inspirational, it will also be time-consuming and taxing. Your support through prayer and financial donations will make you an active part of the success of this project. All donations will be applied directly to the writing phase of the project. You may donate by going to the Moses The Black-The Motion Picture website. We will also be posting updates on our progress on that site.

To give adequate attention to the project, I, as the author of this Journey To Orthodoxy blog, will take a 3 month hiatus from posting here. I have also deactivated the public comment feature. Please enjoy the archived posts and you can always reach me at my JTO e-mail: journeytoorthodoxy@gmail.com. Christ Is Born! Glorify Him!
