You're So Vain

I marvel at the perceptions individuals have in discourse on the internet. Some participants see a post and take it to heart so much that they actually think JTO has some inside info and is speaking directly to them--and they respond with great offence! My suggestion is, if a JTO blog post pierces your conscious negatively, perhaps you should ask God if he is trying to show you something. But know that JTO, though it is relatively small as blogs go, receives thousands of readers and many comments a month. You are not the only one. Is it possible that it is your own heart that condemns you and not JTO? This reminds me of the chorus of an old sixties Carly Simon song. Please forgive my edits:

You're so vain. 

You probably think this post is about you. 

You're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about, 

don't you, don't you, don't you?
