They Can't See It. Can you?

The convolution, confusion, and chaos of the Trinity doctrine could not be more clearly illustrated than this livestream exchange from a worship leader quoting scriptures from The Revelation followed by the singing of the most blatantly heretical trinitarian song I have ever heard.

First, the leader quoted the scripture, just reading past the fact that (Jesus) made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve HIS GOD and FATHER,,,"

...and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and freed us from our sins by his blood and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him. So will it be. Amen. Rev. 1 5-7

Then came the song, ONE TRUE GOD written by Maddison Serban from Gateway Worship. There are several verses, but the chorus is the theme of the unbiblical false theology. Look and see how just the chorus directly contradicts the words of Jesus himself and his Apostles and prophets.

[Chorus]
You are the one true God, Jesus
Forever lifted high, Jesus
There’s no one stronger, No one greater
Who could ever stand against you
You are the one true God, Ohh Jesus

Who does the scripture say is the one true God?

"And this is life in the age to come, that they know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent—Jesus Christ." John 17:3 [the "only true God" SENT Jesus Christ]

"I am Yahweh, and there is none else. Besides me, there is no God." Is 45:5
"There is no one stronger and no one greater?"
"You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away,’ and ‘I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I." John 14:28

So, Maddison and anyone who sings these false words: Who are you to change the very words of the scripture? The warning is clear:

“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city” (Rev. 22:18–19).

Scripture Vs. Tradition

If your TRADITION is based on the vote and deliberations of Church Councils rather than the Holy SCRIPTURE, then it is FALSE... Why do you believe what you believe? Because someone told you? Question your Bishops and demand an answer that does not include the word "mystery."

"But you—continue in the things that you have learned and firmly believed, because you know who you learned them from, and also that from infancy you have known the sacred writings, which are able to give you wisdom leading to salvation through trust in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the person dedicated to God can be fully capable, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Tim 3:14-17

ROCOR Knew- We Have The Receipts

Regarding the arrested, former "Father" Matthew Williams, and the ROCOR Hierarchy's knowledge and enabling of a sexual predator in their clergy ranks: We have the receipts. This letter was included with the printed document, Rape and the Holy Man, and delivered to the then Hierarch. Here also is the hierarch's response.

Currently, now in 2025, ROCOR Bishop Nicholas and others knew also, as attested by Matthew William's own son-in-law, six years prior to the former priest's arrest for sexual crimes against his own daughters. Read RAPE AND THE HOLY MAN and What Did Bishop Nicholas Know and When Did He Know It? To this day, Matthew Williams has yet to be charged with the alleged rape of his 15-year-old goddaughter in the early 2000's.

The victim, now an adult, has reportedly left the faith. Who can lay blame at her feet? She was an innocent devoured by these ROCOR Wolves in priestly clothing.

"...but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to fall away, it would be better for him to have a huge millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the lake."

A Christian Martyr

"The Orthodox Church – Once A Bastion Of Spirituality"

Author: Bojan Jovanović

"While the world bows down to hypocrisy wrapped in gold medals and the rattling of 'green' awards, the Orthodox Church – once a bastion of spirituality – is becoming a mockery of its own shadow. The Ecumenical Patriarch, a figure who is supposed to symbolize the holiness and moral compass of millions of believers, receives accolades for "protecting the environment" while remaining silent in the face of the deepest darkness in his ranks - sexual abuse and pedophilia, which he systematically ignores.

This is not only a human collapse, but also a spiritual collapse. The historic institution, whose icons once inspired awe and faith, is now becoming a symbol of rot beneath the gilded halos. It's time to ask questions that can't wait any longer." – Bojan Jovanović, Secretary General of the Association of Christians of Croatia"

Did Jesus Raise Himself?

JESUS DID NOT RAISE HIMSELF - "THE GOD AND FATHER OF JESUS" (2 Cor.11:31, etc.) RAISED HIM.

Trinitarians, in their effort to “prove” that Jesus raised himself — and is therefore “God” (since Scripture says God raised Jesus) — often cite John 2:19–22.

In 2:19 Jesus is reported to have said:

"I will raise it up"

Trinitarians interpret this to mean he would resurrect himself.

But the very same passage presents clear evidence that it was God (the Father) who raised Jesus, not Jesus himself:

"When therefore he was raised from the dead..." - (Jn.2:22)

Notice how almost every major translation agrees:

“he was raised” — ASV, CSB, CSBA, CEB, CJB, CEV, DARBY, DLNT, ERV, EHV, ESV, EXB, GNT, HCSB, ICB, LSB, LEB, MSG, MEV, NABRE, NASB, NCV, NET, NIV, NLV, NLT, NRSVA, NTFE, RSV, TLV, VOICE, WEB, YLT, etc.

Or: “after he had been raised” — ISV, NIRV, NLV, WE, etc.

Let’s look at the Greek.

The phrase in John 2:22 is:

- - - ὅτε οὖν ἠγέρθη ἐκ νεκρῶν (hote oun ēgerthē ek nekrōn), which means “when therefore he was raised from the dead.”

The key verb here is ἠγέρθη (ēgerthē) — the aorist passive indicative of egeirō (“to raise up”).
The passive voice unmistakably means “was raised” — something done to Jesus, not something he did himself.

If John had wanted to say Jesus raised himself or arose by his own action, he would have used the active (ēgeiren) or middle voice, not the passive.

IN SHORT:

John 2:22 teaches that Jesus was raised by another (i.e., God). The Greek grammar DOES NOT ALLOW the interpretation that Jesus raised himself.

The “Pied Piper” & The Trinity? Follow Scripture, Not The Tune

Humans don’t exist before they exist.

Jesus is truly human (“the man Christ Jesus,” 1 Tim 2:5).

Therefore, Jesus did not pre-exist his human beginning; he began at conception.

1 John confronts those denying Jesus’ real humanity: that he came in the flesh (1 John 4:2).

The Pied Piper story' shows that attractive music can lead crowds away. Likewise, the Trinity Myth is a monstrous destructive doctrine absent from the Bible, systematized centuries later and which draws many with a tune not taught by Jesus or his apostles.

Scripture’s refrain is simple: “The LORD our God, the LORD is one.” (Deut 6:4)

Test every doctrine (Acts 17:11): beware the music of the Trinitarian Pied Piper, it will lead you astray! Ask yourself this question: If it isn’t plainly taught by Jesus or his apostles, why follow the Piper?

DID JESUS SET HIMSELF AT HIS OWN RIGHT HAND?

Non Trinitarian

- - - Ephesians 1:17 The God of our Lord Jesus Christ… :20 … raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

Trinitarianism insists that Jesus is God, and that he raised himself from the dead. But this would mean:

- 1 - That Jesus is his own God, and
- 2 - That Jesus placed himself at his own right hand.

I don’t know about you, but it seems clear to me that neither of these ideas makes any sense.

The Holy Spirit Is An "IT" Not A He

Steven Blake

THE “THIRD PERSON OF THE TRINITY” CANNOT BE GOD, BECAUSE...

- - Only The Father Knows
Jesus said it himself: only the Father knows when he will return (Matthew 24:36). If the Holy Spirit were a third coequal member of a triune godhead, it would know too—but it doesn’t - only the Father knows.

- - It Does Not Speak Its Own Words
John 16:13 says the Spirit “will not speak on its own authority, but whatever it hears it will speak.”That’s a far cry from God - who speaks by His own authority, and is never told what to say by someone else.

- - “It” - Not “He”
Scripture often calls the Spirit “it”, because it is not a person:
Numbers 11:25: “And the LORD took of the Spirit that was upon Moses, and gave IT unto the seventy elders...”
Romans 8:16: “The Spirit IT-self beareth witness with our spirit…”
- - - - - God is always a “He”, never an “It”.

- We Have No Fellowship With It
“Our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son” – 1 John 1:3
While some trinitarians cite 2 Cor.13:14 - “…the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all”, note that this speaks about the fellowship OF the Spirit, not WITH the spirit. It refers to fellowship among Christians engendered by God’s spirit IN them, not fellowship withGod's Spirit itself.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” – Romans 1:7
“There is but one God, the Father... and one Lord Jesus Christ” – 1 Corinthians 8:6

- - - If the Spirit is a coequal person of God, why is it missing from nearly every list alongside the Father and the Son?

BOTTOM LINE
The Holy Spirit is God’s power, His presence, His messenger—but never a coequal third person within God’s being

Even This Atheist Understands Scripture - Jesus Did Not Claim To Be God

"You believe that there is one God. You do well! Even the demons believe this—and tremble in fear." James 2:19

Note: The atheist errs once in lumping the Christ in with other religious figures who wanted to attain godhood. This is a single statement of admitted conjecture and not included in his exposition of the scripture regarding the nature of Jesus and the fact that he never claimed to be God. This atheist is not far from the Kingdom. Are you?

Note 2: For those who may have concern that JTO is posting the words of an atheist, remember this: Absolute truth is absolute truth no matter what the source of dissemination. The travesty is in the fact that Trinitarians have less truth regarding this matter than does this atheist.

Ancient Video Of Emperor Constantine Discovered!

This ancient, well-preserved video was recently discovered in a hidden room in Constantinople. It shows the Emperor Constantine trying to convince an uncooperative bishop that there are five lights rather than four. Soon after this, the emperor and his supporters used the same tactics to push through the innovative Trinity doctrine which said that God was three persons and not one. Those who continued to see only one person were summarily isolated or murdered. A little-known fact is that Constantine, who ironically was baptized by a "one person" bishop, proclaimed a "Homoousios Day" throughout the realm. The holiday didn't catch on but the pagan/Roman doctrine of the Trinity with the equation, 1+1+1= 1, did.

How many lights do you see?

Challenging The Crickets To Chirp!

It seems there were thousands of JTO readers posting comments around the sexual crimes of priests and the coverup by the Orthodox hierarchy. The JTO Admin even weathered a hacker who swamped JTO with hundreds of fake comments which came in waves. One hacker even posed as the JTO Editor to comment. So much interest - both sincere and nefarious!

JTO has been challenging readers to look at the origins and scriptural validity of the Trinity Doctrine. JTO has provided many proof texts and references in numerous posts for discussion. ...and the response?

CRICKETS!

With the exception of one who said I was a dishonest snake oil salesman. Not really a sound doctrinal argument for the Trinity.

The Trinity doctrine was a late innovation to the church. It was not taught or believed in the first three centuries of the church... so why would you believe it?

Yeshua said:
And this is life in the age to come, that they know you, the only true God, AND Jesus Christ whom you have sent. John 17:3

“the only true God.” This is similar to John 5:44 and is one of the many places that give good evidence that Jesus Christ is not God. When Jesus prayed and called God “the only true God,” he was simply acknowledging a truth that was clearly stated in the Old Testament: For example, Nehemiah 9:6-7 says, “You are Yahweh, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens with all their army, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you. You are Yahweh, the God who chose Abram” (cf. Ps. 86:10; Isa. 37:16; 43:11; 45:5). Yahweh is the Father and “the God,” the “only true God” that Jesus recognized and prayed to. The Trinity, the doctrine that “God” is both three and one at the same time is mysterious, incomprehensible, and unbiblical. It is never described in the Bible and attempts to come close to explaining it have to use language that is not in the Bible. For example, that Jesus is said to be both “100% human and 100% God” is both unbiblical and self-contradictory. Also, the Trinity doctrine says there are three “persons” in the one God, but then Trinitarians are quick to state that “persons” does not actually mean “persons” in the ordinary sense, but then they cannot exactly define “person” in the Trinitarian sense. That is because a “person” is an individual, but the “persons” in the Trinity are not individuals in the ordinary sense, but are part of “the one God,” so they are persons but not persons at the same time. Trinitarians say that God is “one what and three whos,” but that is, as stated above, both incomprehensible and unbiblical. When we read the Bible, God always speaks of Himself as one being. He uses “I” and “me” and “my,” and never refers to Himself as an “essence” or “nature.” The same is true of Jesus. John 17:3 is clear, succinct, and understandable: God is “the only true God,” and He “sent” His Son, Jesus Christ, who is a human being (1 Tim. 2:5). [For more information on Jesus not being God in the flesh, see Appendix 6: “Jesus is the Son of God, Not God the Son.” Also, see Appendix 7: “What is the Holy Spirit?”] (REV Commentary)
