Raeleigh was born weighing 8 pounds 14 ounces. She is Cynthia and my third grandchild. Her proud momma is the third of our five daughters. Our little papoose is all American. She is Apache, Spanish, Irish, German. There are few joys like this and few experiences surpass it. Do we have any idea of how much God loves us? God truly is love and we are His children.
Barakaat Allah takuun ma3kum! Congratulations. Will she be baptized Orthodox? Or in some other church?
ReplyDeleteAbu Daoud,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing our joy. As the grandfather the decision of baptism is not up to me. Raeleigh's father and mother are believers and on their journey to the the One, holy catholic and Apostolic Church. They are good friends with Father John Denzil in Hot Springs, Arkansas, priest of Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church-Western Rite. I know that having a child brings the future of our spiritual lives and journey into a different urgency. I know the two young parents will continue to seek the Lord in this matter. Pray for them. Both my daughter and my son-in-law are spiritually in tune to God's will. I am proud of both of them.
