A Demon Confesses

1 comment:

  1. He rebuked the demon, yet he did nothing further? I'm not an expert on exorcism, but I've know a time or two when I have succumb to the utmost horrors of the Devil's hand. I sensed fear in this brother's voice. Very weird feeling hearing the "Doctor's" voice change expression, but that demon, to me, seemed like easy pickings.

It's the higher pitched demons that drive me off the wall. It's sad to see a pure soul being harnessed for the Devil's will. A soft spoken demon takes hold of a human's morality. A delicate flower. A pleasing aroma, yet a devastating sting. I first encountered a demon of this kind from a fellow colleague. He was friendly. Even invited me to his "church". This so called church preached against the teachings of the 'trinity', and not in philosophical interpretation, but against Christ as the only begotten Son of God. My friend had been transformed by what he thought was God's will. Miracle upon miracle influenced his life, bettered him, so he thought. It reminds me of when Christ was subject to such attacks. For it is written, Satan told Jesus, "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

It's heart shattering to encounter a brother in Christ who has fallen captive to a demon; as I'm sure you've experienced Reader Nathan. Thank you for sharing this video and shedding light to the first step in confronting a demon: bring him in to the light and expose the darkness that surrounds him. For in the light, he is powerless. He will flee those who call upon Christ, He whom all power has been given.
