The Trinity doctrine is a late invention influenced by the Roman emperors, forced church councils, Greek philosophies, and thrust upon the church by fiat and political maneuvering. Nathan could no longer adhere to the Nicaean Creed, or any unbiblical doctrine or creed birthed in those circumstances. Truly "To be deep in history is to cease to be Orthodox."
