Feel free to contact these shepherds at the publicly posted addresses or phone numbers. Surely, you will be received with the utmost love, respect, patience, and transparency! You may also refer to the posted link at the bottom for the names and addresses of others who knew of FMW's crimes for years and did little or nothing to protect the innocent. Also ask Antioch and The Orthodox Church of America, what role their priests played in the cover-up of Father Matthew Williams' crimes.

[A cabal is a group of people who are united in some close design, usually to promote their private views or interests in an ideology, a state, or another community, often by intrigue and usually without the knowledge of those who are outside their group. The use of this term usually carries negative connotations of political purpose, conspiracy and secrecy. It can also refer to a secret plot or a clique, or it may be used as a verb (to form a cabal or secretly conspire.]
The FBI has already started the process
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately most men in the rocpr clergy are cowardly enablers. Every cleric I've spoken to has refused to say anything and many of them knew about Fr matthew being a 'pedo priest' but never spoke up while he was ministering to children and families.
ReplyDeleteIf you are wearing a cassock while you read this, maybe it's time to examine your own virtue
Yeah my (now former) Rocor priest told me it wasn't my place to interfere. And when I suggested he bring their weak sexual abuse policy and enforcement up at their annual meeting, he brought it to Bishop Luke who told him it wasn't his place nor was it appropriate to concern himself with such matters. Same answer when he asked if they knew Matthew's whereabouts or if the clergy/hierarchs were concealing that info. We are done with Rocor.
ReplyDeleteLet me know once you find the jurisdiction without sinful men.
ReplyDeleteForget sinful, what about plain evil?
DeleteDid find an Orthodox jurisdiction without plain evil?
DeleteNope. I'm just saying they're literally evil.
DeleteHow about just "a synod who obeys the canons"
DeleteI can give you dozens of recordings and comms of deans and Bishops of the Rocor admitting that their priests are living in uncanonical configurations, that they knew about child abuse, etc and did nothing.
Rocor is filled with homosexuality priests and bishops (Im looking in a Midwestern direction) , priests with girlfriends, adulterer priests and most shockingly child molester and rapist priests that the symod is well aware of.
This house of cards is about to fall and you wont be able to pretend that rocor is somehow safeguarding the world orthodox with their special russian piety any more
Which canons? As an educated Orthodox person, you surely know that the canons are completely contradictory and balkanic.
DeleteI hope that's a troll comment above me...but it's probably not
DeleteNot at all, you're just ignorant of the practical application of the canons. They really are more suggestions than rules, the book of canon law is derived from these by local churches. ROCOR uses the Kormchaia.
DeleteRocor fan boys will do anything to help their bishops escape accountability. Everyone knows what the kormchaia is and everyone knows that a priest who has confessed to fornication of this degree is to be defrocked.
DeleteRocor try not to defend pedophiles challenge level impossible
Sadly I think it is delusional to think ROCOR will ever be motivated to root out the abuse that occurs within it with regards to these types of issues.
ReplyDelete"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the spirit will from the spirit reap life in the age to come. Now let us not grow weary in doing what is good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith."
DeleteI'm glad Nathan is not just including ROCOR in this because Antiochian and OCA dioceses are also at fault for how they handled things also. This is a stain on all Orthodoxy in America right now.
